Reception

D1a-IMG 3045 recptionOur reception area is open and inviting, designed specifically to minimize stress and keep your pet at ease before their appointment with the doctor.

The three-sided reception island allows our staff to receive and discharge multiple patients simultaneously without incidental pet interaction. Our fish tank combines with decorative water cascades to generate natural white water sound to calm the senses.

Seating is divided into species-segregated areas to minimize accidental interaction and isolate unfamiliar sights, sounds and smells which might excite your pet. Extended bench seating affords you the flexibility to position your pet at their most comfortable location.

Our extensive nutrition corner familiarizes you with the many diets available for your pets requirement, and our interactive pet toy display might spark some fun ideas. Our Childrens nook features a DVD player, toys and a rocking horse to keep your other animals entertained.

Pet Health Tips

Fleas and Ticks:

We are seeing more and more ticks on our pets in our area.  Particularly if you travel east or south of Rochester.  Although we do not want these insects that carry diseases on our precious companions, we also do not want them in our environment to bite us as well.  There are many topical and oral flea and tick preventions available to help protect our pets and environment.  Some incorperate heartworm and intestinal prevention and some do not.

Check out information about Ticks in your environment @ http://www.dogsandticks.com/diseases_in_your_area.php or you can look up the area you and your pet will be traveling to in order to protect yourself and your pet.

As always, talk to us about preventives when you come in.
