Office Management

Maintaining a well-oiled and efficient working environment is a critical component to providing your pet with the best possible healthcare. Our office manager works closely with colleagues to ensure that critical medical supplies are readily on-hand, manages internal and customer communications, maintains vendor relations and coordinates all departments and functions to ensure sufficient staffing to address the needs of our patients and clients swiftly.

B3a Staff-Mgmt-BrittanyBrittany - Office Manager & Veterinary Technician

I grew up on a dairy farm near Ithaca, NY. I attended the Veterinary Technology Program at SUNY Alfred, graduating in 2007. I started at the Animal Clinic of East Avenue in August 2008 and have loved my time here with you. I love time with my family and friends, keeping up with my high-energy toddler Collin, and very much enjoy the great outdoors. I have a springer spaniel named Harley and two cats named Bo and Lola. I really enjoy taking time to get to know the clients and forming a relationship with them and their pets.

Pet Health Tips

Fleas and Ticks:

We are seeing more and more ticks on our pets in our area.  Particularly if you travel east or south of Rochester.  Although we do not want these insects that carry diseases on our precious companions, we also do not want them in our environment to bite us as well.  There are many topical and oral flea and tick preventions available to help protect our pets and environment.  Some incorperate heartworm and intestinal prevention and some do not.

Check out information about Ticks in your environment @ http://www.dogsandticks.com/diseases_in_your_area.php or you can look up the area you and your pet will be traveling to in order to protect yourself and your pet.

As always, talk to us about preventives when you come in.
