Reception Staff

We are pleased to introduce you to our warm and courteous reception staff. They are primarily responsible for taking your calls, issuing reminders, scheduling your appointments, and welcoming you and your pet to our veterinary practice.

I joined the Animal Clinic of East Avenue in March of 2011. The main reason I chose an animal care career is because my pets are my very heart and soul. I find it so very rewarding to work together with my colleagues here to ensure that your pet receives only the best care possible.

I enjoy arts and crafts like quilting and jewelry making. I share my home with my husband, two dogs (Sadie & Jagger) and seven cats.

I joined the Animal Clinic of East Avenue in July 2014 after deciding that I wanted to work in a veterinary hospital again.  I additionally enrolled in Medaille's Veterinary Technician Program shortly there after.

I am an German Shepard enthusiast with a passion for dog training.  I enjoy working and competing my dogs in my spare time.  I also love to camp and hike.

Pet Health Tips

Fleas and Ticks:

We are seeing more and more ticks on our pets in our area.  Particularly if you travel east or south of Rochester.  Although we do not want these insects that carry diseases on our precious companions, we also do not want them in our environment to bite us as well.  There are many topical and oral flea and tick preventions available to help protect our pets and environment.  Some incorperate heartworm and intestinal prevention and some do not.

Check out information about Ticks in your environment @ http://www.dogsandticks.com/diseases_in_your_area.php or you can look up the area you and your pet will be traveling to in order to protect yourself and your pet.

As always, talk to us about preventives when you come in.
